An allegory for the rise of another dictator during WWII, this production of Arturo focused heavily on playing with aesthetics and themes present in film between the 30s and 40s. Underscoring played a very large part of pulling us inside and outside of the picture frame surrounding our story, which highlighted the constant question of just how real the violence is.
